The S.A.R. Hungary Foundation has set  the aim to save an Antonov An-2 aircraft from the destruction, and to send it back to the sky. We have an An-2 airframe, but it needs a full overhaul. After the overhaul, we want to give it a new registration number. The new registration number would be HA-ANA, because the former HA-ANA was the first An-2 in Hungary, it came here in 1956, but it is preserved since 1987 in Hermeskeil, Germany. Our An-2 could be a relic of the history of An-2 aircrafts in Hungary. Our aircraft would get a period olive-green paintwork. It could be a pomp of hungarian and foreign air shows. Also, it would have the task to transport the members of Sign Of Life Rescue Squad (A hungarian voluntery rescue team, which works with rescue dogs.) and other rescue teams to different locations of disasters in Europe, in order to help the people in need.
